This awareness training is meant to provide foundational information about health, safety and hazards in the workplace.The Worker Health and Safety Awareness Training provides a basic understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), and does not replace any sector, hazard or competency specific training.
The course consists of the following sections:
- Section 1: Rights and Duties
- Section 2: Workplace Hazards
- Section 3: Incident Reporting and Sources of Information
This training takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. You do not have to complete the training in one sitting. If you stop, your progress will be saved automatically. We hope you will use what you learn here to contribute to a safe work environment.
